Unlock your full potential

Fear is a lock. Courage is the key. We help people build the courage to live fully.

Fear was designed to keep us safe. Now it just keeps us stuck.

That voice that tells us to stay quiet in the meeting? That's fear. The reason we haven't asked for the raise we've earned? Fear. The feelings we've swallowed instead of expressed, the truth we've held back from the people who needed to hear it?

Fear. It's why we stay in the same job for years even though we stopped growing long ago. Why are we still in the same city, the same routine, the same relationship—not because it's right, but because leaving feels too risky.

Fear was designed to protect us from sabertooth tigers. But there are no tigers anymore. Now it just protects us from our own lives. From the promotion. From the connection. From the move. From the conversation. From the version of ourselves we keep catching glimpses of but never quite become.

Every goal we haven't reached, every dream sitting on the shelf, every "someday" that never comes—fear is standing guard, disguised as logic, disguised as practicality, disguised as "not the right time." But we feel it, don't we? That quiet ache of potential going unused. That's not comfort. That's stagnation. And it will cost us more than any risk ever could.

Courage isn’t the absence of fear, it’s the willingness to act in the face of fear. It’s all about feeling fear and taking action anyways.

Courage is a muscle. Fear is a weight.

Did you know that building courage works exactly like any other muscle in your body?

It's not something you're born with. It's something you build. And like any muscle, it requires three things:

  1. Discomfort. There's no growth in the comfort zone. If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.
  2. Repetitions. You can't go to the gym once and expect results. Courage works the same way—it's built through consistent, repeated action.
  3. Use it or lose it. Stop training and the muscle atrophies. Stop practicing courage and fear takes back the territory you gained.

Here's the thing about fear: it's a weight. A 20-pound dumbbell is always going to be a 20-pound dumbbell. But the stronger your muscle gets, the easier it becomes to lift.

Fear works the exact same way. It never fully goes away, but as your courage muscle grows, everything changes. Public speaking gets easier. Asking for that raise gets easier. Having the uncomfortable conversation gets easier. Putting yourself out there on social media gets easier. Dealing with rejection gets easier.

The fear stays the same. You get stronger.

And just like your body, courage isn't one muscle - it's six.

Someone can have a strong upper body and weak calves. Courage works the same way. Just because someone is willing to go skydiving doesn't mean they're willing to sit with an uncomfortable emotion, change their mind, or admit when they're wrong.

That's why the Daily Courage framework measures six distinct types of courage—so you can see where you're strong, where you're avoiding, and where your real growth is waiting.

The 6 types of courage

Physical Courage

Facing fear of bodily harm. Pushing through pain, building resilience, showing up when it's hard.

Social Courage

Risking embarrassment, rejection, or exclusion. Being yourself unapologetically. Leading when others won't.

Moral Courage

Doing the right thing even when it's unpopular. Standing by your values when there's pressure to compromise.

Emotional Courage

Allowing yourself to feel the full spectrum of emotions. Being vulnerable. Opening your heart knowing it might get hurt.

Intellectual Courage

Questioning your own beliefs. Being willing to learn, unlearn, and change your mind when faced with new information.

Spiritual Courage

Grappling with questions of faith, meaning, and consciousness.
